Bunnings Cake Drive

Our school community provided cakes and slices for morning tea for Bunnings Wallsend staff on Wednesday 4th June.  Bunnings Wallsend generously donated $300 in gift vouchers to the school, as well as presenting our student executive with a cheque for $1318.10, which Bunnings staff raised at a BBQ last weekend.  Despite our student executive trying to persuade Mrs Bax to use the money on a jacuzzi for Year 6, $1000 of this money will go towards the P&C goal of $20 000 for a spider's web climbing frame, and the remaining $618.10 will be used by the school to purchase items for the school grounds and gardens.

Thank you to all of the families who donated items for the morning tea.

At the end of each term students use their Plattsy Dollars to 'buy' activities.  One of the highlights of this term's Dollars and Sense days was Stage 3 showing off their excellent fishing skills - and their tall fishing tales!
